Habits of Mealtime: Forming Families

Join us this Sunday, January 29th as we discuss regular family meals as a keystone habit for our families and continue to work on developing a “liturgical lens” so that we have the eyes to see the worship bound up in the habits we hadn’t thought were spiritual at all.

…the difference between people who happen to live together and families who befriend each other are the rhythms of conversation at mealtimes.

Justin Whitmel Earley

I will be referencing these two books to supplement Earley’s advice about mealtimes. The Happy Diner Table is absolutely the BEST book on parenting that no one is reading! It is full of valuable parenting advice that extends well beyond the dinner table. I am thrilled to be able to share it with the group. Mrs. Newland’s book is also fantastic. The wisdom, experience, and perspective that she offers mothers is invaluable. I am really looking forward to our Sunday discussion!
